MARTIAN IS GONE.
Martian was the name we gave her (or he) when this pigeon dropped from the sky to our terrace.
She fell from the sky, and she stayed with us for ten days.
She ate, she drank, she walked around, and did not show any fear.
It was cold and windy when she landed in our terrace and she looked stressed and tired.
We didn't think she would survive. We gave her food and water and shelter and even Speedy the dog had peace with that.
At once she stretched her wings, she said goodbye and she went back to the sky.
Bye-bye Martian. Send us an e-mail if you can.
We miss her.

reminds me of the geese who have laid claim to my pond as their private lake. They stop here in the spring, nest and hatch their chicks, and then continue their journey north. In the fall, they return for a few days to rest and say hi - they basically ignore me when I'm outside walking around the yard and I've grown fond of them and their visits. peace, Al

RYC ; Sure there are good Italian and sardinian cheeses . So obvious .
About the Maroille Fauquet made in Thierache , north of France , it is not the same family . Fauquet is a name largely spread in France . And in 2000 there were 28 Michel Fauquet in France . Fortunately we have three first names !!!
